Circa 1979. This knife was made for the 75th anniversary of Schrade Cutlery. 1904-1979. The sterling silver bolsters and caps are hand engraved with a leaf and florial pattern. The shield on the front side of the handle is engraved 75th Anniversary 1904-1979 Presentation Knife. The serial number on this knife is #144. The top of the blade is fileworked. The front of the blade is etched with gold onlays. It comes with a certificate of authenticity in an envelope. The knife has a soft maroon cloth pouch with Schrade marked in gold on it. It comes in a wood display box with a silver oval plaque on the top and lined with red velvet. It also comes with the original cardboard box with the sleeve over it. There were 25 of these knives produced with with gold bolsters, caps, and inlays, 750 with the sterling silver, and somewhere around 4000 with nickel silver.
