Company exsisted from 1888-1963. The tang is marked MWH CO with the Zenith logo. The back side of the tang is marked Marshall Wells HDW Co. The butt caps are engraved with MW in script. It is assumed that that stands for Marshall Wells. The blade is in good condition. It has some very slight movement. The bone handle scales are in good condition. The knife has been cleaned up at some point. It does not come with a pouch.
