Circa 1982. This knife is a handmade version of the frisco shiv by Blackie Collins. It comes with a copy of a letter from Pete Gerber to Blackie Collins giving Blackie permission to make 300 of the frisco shivs using the handles and lock sheaths made by Gerber. But the letter also states that Blackie must use his own shield in the handle of the knives to distinguish the difference between Blackies knives and Gerbers. The blade on this knife was handmade and has a double edge. It comes with the black locking sheath by Gerber. It also comes in the original Blackie Collins Knives box with a business card of Blackie Collins.

How It Works
This is a consignment sales website. Folks send in knives to us, we clean them up, research them, photograph them, set a value, and sell them for you (handling all shipping, inquiries, returns, etc.)
A.G. Russell called our pricing a Dutch Auction. The price is set by our researcher, and then every month it is available it goes down in price by 10%.
Prices are reduced on the Wednesday closest to the 15th of the month. New knives are added usually twice a month.
